social nuances.
keep forgetting i'm not in melbourne anymore. keep forgetting that there are other ppl around *dionk* . i was walking the fine line of being a good host and considering other's privacy and time and i guess i fell off that tight rope.
i'll just go bury my head in the corner.
the loss of independence is really apparent when you first come back to singapore. It suddenly strikes you that you just can't invite anyone you like back to your house anymore. Throwing pot lucks and parties is a huge issue. Your fuse is shorter than usual. The lack of breathing space, privacy and time to just be by yourself is a little hard to get use to at first. It's really awesome to have ppl in the house again. But i really have to watch myself and be careful of what i say and do.
ah well. let's hope it goes more smoothly with time.
