B4, you read any further check http://www.kennysia.com/archives/2005/08/kenny_sia_repli_2.php out. he tickles me pink. ( no pun intended, dear)

And on to my blog

Ladies, question of the day is :" if you like a dude, would you ask him out?"chances are that the answer will be a resounding . NOOOOOOO!!!! that was the answer i've been getting Actually, nien. that has been all the answers i've been getting. Why shouldn't we ask a guy out? reasons given:

1) coz we would come across as been too cheap

2) coz guys wouldn't treasure you as much coz ni3 song4 shang4 pan2

3) coz it ain't proper

Here's one more favourite from coming from our mums."always date a guy who loves you more than you do."

Reasons given by the other species
1) coz the gal would come across as been too cheap

but actually, if you ask the XYers, the few i've asked said they actually don't mind. So why the tabooness of the whole issue?

With all this about equal rights in the work place, equal rights in the household ( yeah right) , equal rights in politics... no one really looked into equal rights in the dating scene.

Actually, who in the world came up with the ruling that girls had to keep their mouths shut anyway. So if the guys have to ask us out, then how come we don't give the same reasons.

aka

1) THe guys would come across as being cheap
2) we wouldn't treasure them half as much.

how come no one ever said it was wrong for guys to ask gals out.

probably one of the reasons we give iz that guys are more thick skinned and they're not so emotionally scarred if we give them the head shake.

hmmm. i think it is more emotionally traumatising, coz they can't even walk up to their buddies and bitch about how the gal rejected them.simply because society just frowns on guys poring out their emotions to other guys. THat would be wat??? gay?

Funny. these dictations of society.

So yez, we 're expected to wait, join the LOTS club ( left on the shelf club) and juz stone and stone. Even if you see someone who looks nice and available, just keep smiling that spaced out smile, don't look at the person and juz keep hoping. the most we can do w/o crossing that fine line of being viewed as an oddball , iz perhaps doing things for the object of your affections. maybe, even then, to some , that's also crossing the line.

How long are we expected to go on for? 1 year, 5 years? A lifetime? till your fellow elotters and you have all accumulated cobwebs? or mebbe till you go absolutely nuts.

oh the shackles of being a female.
Equal rights my ass. You can't even have free expression.
Amoebas still rule the earth.
Other that or we shoudl regress to being cave men.
and start over.
And please, whoever comes out with the dating rules, let it be equal rights k?
or else i'll come after you with my caveman's club.
